An adult died on scene at Thomas Springs Road and West State Highway 71, according to ATCEMS.
AUSTIN, Texas — One person is dead after a crash Friday morning in southwest Austin.
According to a social media post from Austin-Travis County Emergency Medical Service (ATCEMS), the crash happened sometime before 8:40 a.m. on Thomas Springs Road and West State Highway 71.
The victim died on scene, but there is no additional information about their identity at this time.
SH 71 is currently closed both ways near Thomas Springs Road.
