The company said it’s currently working on a possible solution after the outage Thursday morning.
TEXAS, USA — Microsoft users might have trouble accessing their emails.
According to a series of social media posts from Microsoft 365 Status, the company noted temporary issues with its services.
“We’re analyzing data from customers experiencing crashes and high memory usage when using the New Outlook desktop app. We’re reviewing the service telemetry and reproducing internally to develop a mitigation plan,” a post stated Thursday morning in part.
Microsoft said it found a possible problem with memory management, and it’s currently working towards a solution.
Some users on X have reported memory usage issues, a frozen server and the app locking up altogether.
It’s currently unclear exactly when this issue will be resolved.
