China’s 75 years of consumer spending showcases growth of affluence [Video]

After 75 years of development, the Chinese society has transitioned from merely having enough to eat to enjoying a rich diet, with the standard of living continuously improving. In 2023, China’s per capita consumption reached 26,796 yuan ($3,820), a 536-fold increase from 1949! What does this mean?
