Circal receives 15m investment for Irish and US growth [Video]

Circal, a developer of solar and energy storage projects, announced that it has secured €15m investment from Octopus Energy Generation.  

This investment will drive Circal’s current sustainability projects and accelerate its growth ambitions for clean energy projects in Ireland and the USA.   

Founded by energy transition industry veterans Bill Sadlier and Seán Manley, Circal is a developer of utility-scale solar and energy storage projects.

Its team ​​has ​​​4.5GW combined capacity of active ​projects in its pipeline ​in Ireland and the USA.  

The Circal team bring a combined wealth of experience to large scale renewable energy projects having developed and managed a number of major projects over the past 20 years enabling a capital investment of €4bn across Europe and the US.  

This latest investment was made on behalf of the Octopus Energy Development Partnership (OEDP) fund that Octopus Energy Generation manages.
