The next chapter of director Matt Reeves’s The Batman saga is finally here! HBO’s The Penguin is a brand new show that takes place in the chaotic aftermath of the 2022 film, revealing how the unluckiest citizens of Gotham got on after Paul Dano’s version of The Riddler almost completely destroyed the entire city. With entire neighborhoods underwater and crime boss Carmine Falcone (John Turturro in the film, Mark Strong in the HBO show) gone, the poorer parts of Gotham are completely helpless.
