Anonymous threats target Colorado schools [Video]

The Eagle County Sheriff’s Office said an “alarming post” on social media mentioned Colorado schools. Students at an Englewood campus were bused to another school.

ENGLEWOOD, Colo. — An anonymous tip that an explosive device was inside a building at an Englewood school campus prompted school leaders to bus students to another school within the district.

According to Englewood Police, the threat was related to Englewood High School, Englewood Middle School and the Englewood Leadership Academy. The schools are located in the 3800 block of South Logan Street.

The anonymous tip indicated a device was inside the combined building, Englewood Police said. Out of an abundance of caution, police said students were being bused to a different school.

About 10 a.m., police said officers had searched the school and found nothing suspicious.

People were told to stay away from the area as they continue to investigate.
