HAMDEN, Conn. (WTNH) — A candlelight vigil was held in Hamden on Friday to honor the life of the rapper Fatman Scoop.
The 53-year-old died after collapsing on stage last week in Hamden as a part of the Hamden Summer Concert Series. A series of speakers paid tribute to him.
Licensed grief counselors and the Hamden Police Department social worker were there to offer support and connect services to those processing and mourning his death.
