Less than two years after opening a $114 million facility and creating over 65 new jobs in Opelika, Niagara Bottling, LLC. is expanding its operations and bringing more jobs to the area.
The City of Opelika announced on Wednesday morning that Niagara Bottling plans to invest an estimated $35 million at its current Opelika facility and the investment is expected to create an additional 18 jobs. The facility was first approved by the city in 2022 before opening in early 2023.
