Eerie, half-glimpsed post-apocalyptic monsters that you can only avoid by staying silent?

Nope, it’s not another A Quiet Place instalment, it’s the trailer for Azrael, E.L. Katz’ thriller about a religious cult trying to ward off some creepy creatures via the good ol’ human sacrifice method. Samara Weaving stars in this survival story that Mashable’s Kristy Puchko described as “horrid but humdrum” in her review.

Azrael is in theatres from Sept. 27.
