CLEVELAND, Ohio — After two weeks of slow stock growth from major Ohio companies, 26 showed a positive change, up from 11 the week before. Of them, 11 had at least 2.5% growth, including four from the Greater Cleveland area.
The major Ohio company with the most growth from the previous week was finance institution KeyCorp. The stock value for the Cleveland company increased 12.2%, or $1.78 a share.
The other major Greater Cleveland companies that saw growth last week were Progressive, Sherwin-Williams and Transdigm Group.
This is the third week in a row that Progressive saw stock growth, including at least 2.5% last week. KeyCorp and seven other companies have seen stock growth for at least two weeks in a row.
