Since 2017, Colonel Kedrick Wills has led the Idaho State Police. On Wednesday, as he entered retirement, Colonel Bill Gardiner accepted the director position.
BOISE, Idaho — Colonel Kedrick Wills stepped down after 29 years of service with the Idaho State Police at a Change of Command Ceremony in Meridian on Wednesday, Aug. 12.
Colonel Wills served the past seven years as Director of ISP. As he entered retirement on Aug. 12, he expressed his interest in serving Idaho in various ways moving forward, he told KTVB.
“I’m not done working, so I’m not sure what it looks like, the future, going forward for me as far as work goes, but I’m excited to continue to have my hand in keeping Idaho in what it is now and keeping it a great state”, said Colonel Kedrick Wills.
