I find it ridiculous that Governor DeWine is trying to promote his own solution to the Gerrymandering issue.
He failed to act when Ohio Republican Legislators clearly violated the law and disregarded the Ohio Supreme Court during the last redistricting process. His noncompliance with the law disqualifies him from criticizing the current effort to address Gerrymandering in Ohio.
It’s crucial that redistricting is handled in a completely nonpartisan way, which DeWine’s “Iowa solution” does not achieve.
