A Central New York restaurant with multiple identities has closed, citing rising costs [Video]

Cicero, N.Y. — A restaurant that combined a quirky diner, a classic sports pub, a pizzeria and one of Upstate New York’s best-known wing brands has closed permanently.

The Cicero Eatery at 7785 Frontage Road closed Sunday, said Robb Bidwell, who owns the business with partner Doug Balle. It opened in 2021 as a second location for Armory Square’s Modern Malt diner, then transitioned to the Cicero Eatery in March 2023.
