Former US president Donald Trump injured after Pennsylvania shooting [Video]

Global leaders have expressed concern Sunday over an assassination attempt targeting former US president Donald Trump at a rally in Pennsylvania that left one attendee dead and critically injured two others, with many condemning the violence that shocked the world.

US authorities are still investigating the shooting.

Austria

Chancellor Karl Nehammer said on social media platform X that he was appalled by the attempt and wished Trump a quick and full recovery.

“Political violence has no place in our society! My thoughts are with all the victims of this attack!” he said.

Brazil

President Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva said on X that the attack must be “strongly repudiated” by all democracy defenders and dialogue in politics, calling the incident unacceptable.

Canada

Prime Minister Justin Trudeau posted on X saying that he was sickened by the shooting and his thoughts were with Trump, those at the event and all Americans.

New Orleans Saints Alvin Kamara reports training camp: source [Video]

One of the New Orleans Saints star players at the center of a contract dispute for weeks has arrived to training camp. Sources tell WDSU that running back Alvin Kamara has reported to training camp in Irvine, California. Kamara missed the final mandatory minicamp practice several weeks ago, reportedly due to contract issues. Despite being at training camp, it is unclear if he will participate or if the contract extension issues have been resolved. Saints head coach Dennis Allen has yet to speak to any potential problems with Kamara. Kamara has been with the Saints since 2017 and is entering his eighth season with the team. He is in his final year of his current deal where he's scheduled to make a little more than $10 million. Saints general manager Mickey Loomis and head coach Dennis Allen are holding a news conference Tuesday night at 5:45 p.m. central. These social media posts and threats towards schools are a nationwide problem according to the Grant County Sheriff's Department. Typically, the posts are screenshots of social media messages that get shared thousands
