Timberwolves introduce first round draft picks, excited to start prep for next season [Video]

SIOUX FALLS, S.D. (Dakota News Now) – The Minnesota Timberwolves introduced what they hoped will be the last pieces to a championship puzzle in first round draft picks Rob Dillingham and Terrance Shannon Jr. Wednesday.

They traded up to the eighth pick in the draft to get Kentucky’s Dillingham who is thrilled to join a team he can both grow within and win at the same time.

“I wouldn’t think I’d go to a contender right off the rip. So me seeing that I’m going to the Timberwolves it was just a blessing for real, and I’m as just happy that I got to learn from so many vets and so many players that has done it,” Dillingham said.
