A short anime series featuring Sanrio’s adorably fluffy Bosanimal line is set to hit the small screen this April on Fuji Television’s “Nonstop” programming block. As part of the initial announcement, the supercute Japanese entertainment company also revealed the show’s first key visual and trailer. Watch the perfectly pastel trailer for the Bosanimal anime now:
The Bosanimal line, derived from the Japanese word “bosabosa” meaning untidy hair, was created in 2021. The series will follow the everyday lives of the bunny Sakura, the cat Cathy, and the hamster Ran.
Isamu Ueno (I’m From Japan, Mrs. Warabi) will direct the series at studio maroyaka and soket, in collaboration with ODDJOB Inc., while Hiromu Kumamoto, Aya Satsuki, and Chihiro Amano will co-write the script.
In the meantime, Sanrio fans can watch Aggretsuko, Gudetama: An Eggcellent Adventure, and Hello Kitty Happiness Parade on Netflix.
