ITV viewers issue same complaint as Rishi Sunak insists he was deprived of Sky TV | TV & Radio | Showbiz & TV [Video]

Rishi Sunak has left ITV viewers all saying the same thing after insisting he was deprived of Sky TV as a child during an interview about the upcoming General Election which aired this evening.

During the one-to-one interview, which was conducted by broadcaster Paul Brand, Sunak was asked if he’d ever gone without something in his life.

The nation’s leader, who has an estimated personal fortune with his wife Akshata Murty of £651m, confidently replied: “Yes, I mean, my family emigrated here with very little. And that’s how I was raised. I was raised with the values of hard work.”

His father was a GP and his mother ran a pharmacy while he was growing up. He attended the prestigious Winchester College before being educated at Lincoln College, in Oxford. He later earned an MBA from Stanford University in America.

When asked what he had to sacrifice as a child, the Prime Minister said: “Lots of things.”
