The new Star Wars: Skeleton Crew series premieres on Disney Plus in just a couple of weeks, and the marketing campaign has picked up accordingly. Today, the official Star Wars YouTube channel posted yet another brief TV spot promoting the show.
The brief clip depicts Jude Law’s Jod Na Nawood in a situation relatable to anybody who’s ever had to supervise kids. Take a look:
Overall, the teaser effectively conveys Skeleton Crew‘s lighter, more humorous tone, which is fitting for a show trying to pay homage to family-friendly 80s classics like The Goonies. However, the show doesn’t look like it’ll be devoid of action as we can also see a number of chase scenes, not to mention the approaching threat of some evil pirates.
Nick Frost’s droid character, SM-33, is also visible in the footage here, but he doesn’t get any lines. Luckily, the actor recently had an interview with StarWars.com where he discussed his role in the show.
