Mind you, I’m not saying no. MOUSE: P.I. FOR HIRE actually looks pretty sophisticated, although you can tell that they were yelling SUCK IT, DISNEY throughout the character design process. Which is admittedly another point in its favor. The earliest versions of Mickey Mouse should have started being public domain thirty years ago.
